The Real 'True Detective'

Austin Wade Picard Season 1 Episode 92

This week, we explore the darkest layers of modern society -- which largely remain in the shadows -- deliberately obscuring the vision of the general public. Our undisclosed enemies, shrouded in darkness, intentionally unraveling the very moral fabric disrupting the international community at large. As we remain headstrong in the pursuit of truth, we stumble across the path of our common enemy possessed with the darkest ambitions unbeknownst to the vast majority, involving complicated coverups, sexual blackmail, childhood trauma, methods of mind-control, and even ritualized murder or blood sacrifice requiring the use of ancient runes by various groups who tend to believe in the magical elements of neopaganism. We must first understand the reconstructed ideology of our enemy if we are to defend against them. As we prioritize separate cases involving extraordinary overlap while sharing stark parallels with each other, we venture into the shadows, only to reemerge in the midst of a moral crisis. The quote long attributed to Italian poet and philosopher, Dante Alighieri, comes to mind: "The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis..." And so, our perilous journey through this inverted moral landscape begins...leaving us with a profound sense of righteous indignation.
